“Now this is the parable: the seed is the word of God”.
Did you ever consider the reason why Jesus compared God’s Word with a Seed?
He did it, in order to teach us the most fundamental lesson—the operating principle between the Word and a Seed is coherent—they are parallel. We certainly cannot afford to miss it.
The ministry of our Lord Jesus was to bear witness to the truth by uncovering the truth. -John 18:37. He constantly uncovered the Kingdom truth through metaphors, parables, etc. And one of them is: the parable of the sower; whereby He taught us the ‘seed principle.’
And when we begin to understand and apply these Kingdom principles, we advance into a dimension where these truth becomes a reality in our daily life.-Amen
The parable of sower uncovers that God’s Word is the key to our success, breakthrough, fruitful and a productive life; provided we understand the underlying truth taught in the Word.
“…who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.” —Mat 13:23
In this parable, why do you think the devil actively involves in the process to ‘snatch away’ the Word? Is it not because the devil understands the ‘seed principle’ better than most Christians do? He has learnt the art of keeping people in bondage and making people unfruitful and unproductive by taking away the Word; didn’t He do that with Eve too? Without the Word we are helpless.
These short devotionals are intended to uncover the biblical truth to set the people free, and to help Kingdom people to live out God’s destiny for their lives—to live fruitful and productive life. Praying and expecting that God will speak to your heart and uncover those truths that you need to know today, that you live-out God’s destiny for your life.
God Bless You!
