PROBLEM SHIFT
OR PARADIGM SHIFT

A New Mind - Part-1

We all need a Paradigm Shift.

Good times isn’t perennial in life; even before you could relish it, a new set of problem begins to knock the door. Perhaps right now you in the middle of a private battle. The primary concern is not the problem that we are battling with but when the problem captivates our heart and mind and begins to dominate it and control them. Then, slowly we begin to slide into the puddle of anxiety and fear, then creeps in the big boss: the depression — a state of feeling hopeless. When people become slave to depression for a long time, either they end their life, isolate themselves or find themselves in the grip of self-pity; and the life of self-pity is the most pitiable. I have met several and I sympathize with them.Thank God! Jesus has broken the chains of fear, anxiety and given us victory over every depression. Hallelujah!

At a time such as these, you will need a –Paradigm shift and God will, for sure, give you a Paradigm shift. “Paradigm shift is radical change and transformation in your beliefs that effects your behavior.”

In simple words, you are behaving the way you are right now, because of your belief. How are you behaving today? Every man on this planet lives what he believes, but you must know what actually you are believing in, because your belief will effect your behavior. And what we know is further made limited by our reasoning, knowledge and experience. For you to get a Paradigm Shift God has to give you a Word, a new revelation. “Remember, Word of God is active and living…”

Today, we read of a man called Paul.  He was going through an extreme moment in his life and he needed a ‘Paradigm Shift.’ He was given “a thorn in the flesh”, what he calls as “a messenger of satan to harass him”. He was harassed, are you? Three times he had pleaded God to remove it. (You know, Paul knew the purpose why it was given. But the point is this, there are times, we know that God has something good intended even in the worst experience, it isn’t easy when we are actually going through it. Paul was fully aware of the purpose (vs7), yet he prayed three times.)

God met Paul at the point of his deepest need. When Paul prayed, something happened. God spoke, that’s right! God gave him a revelation that stunned him. Revelation will blow you out!! God spoke, “my grace is sufficient for thee. For my power is made perfect in weakness.” GOD SPOKE — And that’s my point. God speaks and he has something to say to  you right now, only if you have a heart ready to listen. God is watching every movement in your life, don’t worry.

Paul was a man possessed by God, a man with invincible faith, a man who had borne the marks of Jesus on his body and considered himself a fool for Christ, a man who had been to third Heaven. He was overflowing with abundance of revelation, YET, Yet, Paul did not have the revelation for the crisis he was going through. Paul wasn’t self sufficient, he had to be God sufficient. Expect something new from God today.

Friend DON’T LIMIT GOD! Don’t say, I know, I have read, I have heard, I have experienced….. God is not impressed by any of these. God is about to do something NEW in your life. I don’t care if you have comedown from heaven; if you don’t have the Word for today, it does not good. Don’t live on yesterday’s experience. But there is something new God is about to do in your situation, which is beyond your reasoning and experience and imagination. God will either change your situation or He will change you for good.

At the point of deepest need, God gave Paul a revelation, God gave him a Word! And God wants to give you too. One Word from God was enough to take off the scales from his eyes. And that’s all you need for your Paradigm shift — One Word, Yes — One Word. You are stuck where you are, because you don’t have the Word, Rhema — the spoken Word. The Word will set you free. Suddenly, the things Paul was complaining about (emphasis mine), he began to see in the light of new revelation. Yes, he just got the ‘Paradigm Shift.’ He begin to see see pain, sorrow, hardship, persecution, insults, depression… (you name it) a reason to rejoice,  because he understood that God’s grace is made perfect in weakness and not in strength. He didn’t get this revelation when he got to heaven, he got it here on earth, and you can get it too! In fact, Paul began to boast about it (vs9). Have you ever seen a man taking delight in persecution and insults? Either he is a mad or a man who has a word from heaven. You say, “Paul, you are out of your mind.” and Paul tells you, “Yes, I am out of my mind, because I just got the mind of Christ.” The revelation shifted his knowledge, faith and behavior. Revelation gets our mind to think the way God thinks about our problem. It gets our frozen mind to see and understand things in the heavenly light. God doesn’t your opinion, He want’s you to trust him and wait upon Him.

Did God change his situation? No! God didn’t change his situation, He changed Paul. God didn’t give Paul a Problem Shift but a Paradigm Shift. Well, what God wants to shift in your life — your problem or you; its up-to God.

We all need a paradigm shift in life. No one is DONE! Perhaps you need one today. Remember, God is gracious and He will redeem you out of your miry pit, set your feet upon a rock and will put a new song in your mouth. A new song is the result of a new experience with God. He is ready to give you, are you ready?

“Don’t limit God. God is about to do something new in your life. God will either change your situation or He will change you for good — Be Prepared”

depression

Reflection: You may be stuck somewhere. Perhaps a bad experience may be overwhelming you but one word from God is enough to shift your whole paradigm of thinking. One Word from God is enough to change you for good. All you need is to seek God. Paul sought the Lord three times over the same matter before he got a word from heaven and you will need to seek God before you get the word. Seek God and you will find Him. Remember God is the source of solution of your problem, not men.
